D. Blind
Daley Blind (9 maart 1990) is Ajacied in hart en nieren. Als kind van de club doorliep hij de gehele jeugdopleiding en kwam hij, verdeeld over twee periodes, tot ruim 300 wedstrijden in het eerste elftal. Ook heeft Blind tientallen interlands gespeeld voor het Nederlands elftal. De verdediger, die ook als middenvelder uit de voeten kan, is zoon van Ajax-icoon Danny Blind.
Op 7 december 2008 debuteerde Blind onder Marco van Basten in Ajax 1, op bezoek bij FC Volendam. Zijn definitieve doorbraak liet even nog op zich wachten en na een verhuurperiode bij FC Groningen was Blind er klaar voor. Sinds het seizoen 2011/12 is hij vaste waarde bij Ajax en na het succesvolle WK van 2014 vertrok hij naar Manchester United. Na vier Engelse jaren keerde Blind terug en groeide hij uit tot één van de sleutelspelers van het Ajax dat onder Erik ten Hag de Europese weg omhoog weer heeft gevonden. 'De cirkel is rond', aldus Blind in 2019.
